Hi,
Would like to be a monitor for the state of Kansas. I do a great deal of traveling throughout the Midwest, and I think this state, in particular, is a hotbed of activity. I do have a question, however.
I am a Google fiber customer, which means I've got the fast internet. How concerned should I be about sending this type of info out? There's nothing that can be hid anymore, but just wanted to make sure it was safe for all.
Thanks,
Mnator

Right on!!!! Do it now for the children and damn the naysayers and the consequences! It's too important to ignore...

...We all have to pay attention and sacrifice our supposed privacy!

Ain't real anyway unless you are!!!!

If you are, it won't matter anyway...

Ain't (is) it the truth?

Yepper...

Hi Again,

Totally appreciate the post! But I was more concerned about Google's relationship w/ the government - ain't no denying it anymore - and didn't want to open any doors for anyone by being here. Not a conspiracy theorist, but a realist.:)
That being said, let me know if I can handle the area specified, and direct me to the right way in doing so. I also have a friend in Nebraska who might be interested. He's a farmer and has family. We're both aware of the reality of the times.
Either way, glad to be here.

Welcome MNator, I was also hesitant to put myself at risk but found a great community here. I have two stations in Edmond Oklahoma and have been pushing my data to NETC for several years now with no ISP flags and no harassment. I believe you will be safe to contribute. The actual uploaded data packets are very small so even slow providers would not be affected by the addition of a few monitors.

We can't worry about these (i'm watchin ya) things...

All it does is keep the information out of the public eye and that's the problem to begin with...

NO insurance company will take these things (rad plants) on to begin with as they already know (got people for that full time) that they are all loosers and money pits!

Most people ignore it! We have to put the truth out there (to bring attention to these killer plants)! Bubble gum salesmen would face a very long jail sentence if they sold (the public) these killer products...

Netc is real as far as I know and I personally wouldn't care anyway as long as they put the truth out there (and they do)...

The data is what's important and I support this one without doubt!!!

Get with the truth and don't worry about the (supposed) privacy problems. Ya don't have any (privacy) anyway!!!

And as far as I know this site is secure and no one (although we disagree at times) is out to do anything but help others...

You know, all I'm trying to do is be respectful of this group, okay? I ask these questions so as to not make others uncomfortable. The fact is, Google has been recruited by this administration, and I felt it necessary to make sure people knew that I am using their internet service, that's all.
Can we move forward now? There's work to do.

Again don't let these concerns bother you, It'll only cause you more grief and life is WAYYYY too short.

Get one asap before there all gone, great price for what you get. I've used one (Pi 200) for over 2 years without problems...

..it's the fix for your monitor problems and a great trouble free rig.
